Born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Terry got his first taste of construction after taking a drafting class in school, and he never looked back. Terry has been a big part of the team for 2 years now. Mike grew up in Ohio. Soon after graduating from high school, Mike decided to serve in the Marine Corps for 4 years. After that life changing experience, he moved to Atlanta where he got into the construction industry. Mike is a proud husband of almost 26 years, and together they have 2 daughters and a son. Career Day at Dove Creek Elementary
Freeman and Charlie IV headed out to career day at Dove Creek Elementary this week. The kids had a blast honking the horns on all the equipment. Kids are our future, and we want as many of them to be as crazy about construction as possible! Thanks to the teachers for having us and for everything that they do. We are truly lucky to have teachers who show all of the care, understanding, and patience that they do with our kids.
Toyota Plant
The YKTA project for Toyota is nearing completion even with the rain we have received since December. The utilities and site grading are 90% percent complete. Backfilling the press pits with the wet conditions is a hurdle we have managed by mixing a chemical admixture into the soil to dry the moisture. It has allowed us to be productive on days that we would normally not be able to work. Novel Midtown
The Novel project in Midtown is a complex project on a very tight site. Zach Fry and Justin Mossinger are pulling together the operations in the field. Located in the heart of Atlanta in a very busy part of the city, the site is just over 2 acres in size and every square foot will be disturbed in some way. Despite its small size, this project will require the export of over 150,000 cubic yards of materials of which we anticipate 38,000 cubic yards of blast rock.
